Billie Marie (Montgomery) Whitney
February 11, 1930 ~ March 27, 2018

FOn Tuesday, March 27, 2018 at 9:52 p.m. Billie Marie Whitney left her earthly body and entered the gates of Heaven. Over the course of the last 7 years of her life Alzheimer's made every effort to rob her of mind and memories but it could never rob her of her love, kindness, compassion or orneriness. She may not have known who we all were but we all knew who she was and that what was mattered the most. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Nowata Fire Department in Nowata, Oklahoma.

Billie Marie (Montgomery) Whitney was born as the youngest of 4 Daughters to William Howard and MABLE Beatrice (Estes) Montgomery. She was born and raised in Delaware, Oklahoma as well as receiving her education there. Billie played softball and basketball for the Delaware Warriors.

Billie married the love of her life, Bob Whitney on February 11, 1947 in Columbus, Kansas. They made their home in many places due to Bob's work brut on May 24,1967 they moved back to Delaware, Oklahoma and then they moved to Nowata, Oklahoma in 1976 and made it their home until her passing. From this Union They had 9 children.

Billie worked at Marcus for a short time and was a sales clerk at Nowata Wal-Mart for 16 years in the shoe department.

She is survived by daughters Charlotte Crouse of Delaware, Sue (Biff) Middlebusher, Pat (Denny) Parks both of Nowata and a son Mark Whitney of Omaha, NE. She also leaves behind 10 grand children, 20 great grandkids and 3 great-great grandkids and several nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
