Lillian Whitford

SPEARMAN - Lillian Whitford, 78, died Tuesday, June 25, 2002.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in First Christian Church with the Rev. Gary Smith officiating. Burial will be in Hansford Cemetery by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home.

Mrs. Whitford was office manager at Spearman Redi Mix. She and her husband managed Spearman Redi Mix from 1957 to 1979. She was a member of First Christian Church of Spearman.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Nicholas and Grace Nemsgern; two brothers, Nick Nemsgern and Gene Nemsgern; a sister, Marty Randall; and a daughter, Sharon Dossett.

Survivors include a son, Larry Whitford of Guymon, Okla.; a daughter, Jody Harnish of Amarillo; a son-in-law, Bernard Dossett of Amarillo; 10 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.

The family suggests memorials be to First Christian Church of Spearman, 79081; or Hansford Hospice, 707 S. Roland St., Spearman, TX 79081.
