Bill G. White

Bill G. White
November 30, 1928 ~ November 21, 2020

Bill G White was born on November 30, 1928 to Harold and Pearl White and passed on to be with the Lord on November 21, 2020. Bill was a US Army Veteran, serving in the Korean Conflict with the 45th Infantry Division. Bill was retired from DHS as a social worker.

Bill was proceded in death by his parents, a brother David, and wives Betty and Dorothy.

Bill is survived by a very loving family that includes his Son: Ronnie White of Stilwell, OK; Daughter: Tawanna Williams and husband Christopher of Springdale, AR; Brothers: Joe White of Westville, OK, John White of Stilwell, OK, Gerald White and wife Mary of Stilwell, OK, and Larry White and wife Sue of Bixby, OK; Stepchildren: Debbie Crittenden and husband Paul of Stilwell, OK, Linda Wilson and husband Chief of Stilwell, OK, Robin Gray and husband Ron of Stilwell, OK, Cindy Hopkins of Stilwell, OK, and Mike Holliway of San Marcos, TX; three grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, and many other relatives and family members.

Bill was an avid OU Sooners fan. Bill enjoyed music and playing his trombone. Bill played in the US Army NCO Clubs and also was the director and member of Willie White and His Southwestern Swing Band. Bill learned his music from his parents Harold and Pearl White who formed and played music as a part of the famous White Family Band, who kept neighbors entertained and well as singing and playing in Church.

Bill also enjoyed jogging and running 5k races through his seventies and gaming at the Casino’s. Bill was a member of Freedom Christian Church in Stilwell where he served as a founding Deacon.
