Terry Dean White was born July 11, 1960 in Coahoma County, Mississippi to Linda Alford and Bradley White.
He passed away March 25, 2016 surrounded by family at his home in Prague, Oklahoma at the age of 55.
He was saved and baptized at Faith Bible Church.
Terry grew up part of his life in Clarksdale, Mississippi. At about age 12 he moved to Houston, Texas where he attended Waltrip High School. He began working in the oilfield at age 18 as a Snubbing Helper for Hydraulic Workover Inc. and then Macco Schlumberger as a Snubbing Operator.
In 1980 he was hired by James Springer to work for Texas Wellhead Control as an "A" Operator and met James' sister Vicki whom he would later marry. In 1982 he went to work for Cudd Pressure Control in Texas, Oklahoma and Wyoming.
In 1984 Terry worked for Springer Brother's Oil in Columbia and Venezuela. In 1988 he worked in the North Sea for Mega Petroleum in Stavanger Norway, and then later worked as a Snubbing Superintendent for Odfjell Well Intervention in the Middle East. About 2001 he began working Boots & Coots International in Indonesia, Venezuela, Kuwait, Qatar and in Iraq on the well fires and other issues after the second Gulf War. He also worked for Nordic Energy Services in Egypt and Abu Qir then High Arctic Energy in Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Africa, Caspian Sea, UAE and Russia.
In 2010 Terry decided to form Terry White Consulting, LLC. He performed consulting work for Chesapeake Energy in Arkansas, BHP in Arkansas and Louisiana, Devon Energy in Oklahoma and was performing consulting work for Sandridge Energy in Oklahoma and Kansas when he became ill.
Terry married Vicki Springer in 1982 at Garden Grove Missionary Baptist Church and they made their home in Shawnee, Oklahoma.
In 1983 they moved to Houston, Texas and then to Prague, Oklahoma in 1985 to begin a family.
Terry enjoyed playing pranks, joking around, fishing, hunting, mowing his lawn perfectly, going to the lake, shooting pool, grilling, wrestling around with grandchildren and spending time with sons, family and friends. He was a man of integrity and believed in working hard and providing for his family.
Terry was preceded in death by his mother Linda Alford, father, Bradley White, special uncle, Ocie Alford and special aunt, Ruble Ferguson.
He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Vicki, of the home; two sons, Cody White of Norman and Dylan White and his wife, Miranda of Prague; four grandchildren, Ian and Ethan White whom he called �his sons�, of the home and Tyleeyah and Tryceson White of Prague; two brothers, Brandon White of Texas and Alan Osbarn of Mississippi; one sister, Cindy Yates of Texas; brothers-in-law, Kent Springer of Shawnee, James Springer of Thailand and Carl Springer Jr. of Armenia; and a host of other relatives and friends.
