Shirley Mae Bell (Martin) White

Shirley Mae Bell (Martin) White
June 15, 1936 ~ May 3, 2018

Shirley Mae Bell White, 81, of Ramona passed away at her home in the early morning hours of May 3, 2018, surrounded by loved ones.

Shirley was born June 15, 1936 in Ft. Cobb, OK to parents Cecil and Dorothy (Banks) Martin. She attended schools there and graduated from Ft. Cobb High School.

On January 14, 1954, Shirley married Kenton White. Kenton preceded her in death on November 7, 2014.

Shirley's main focus in life could be summed up in two words - family and church. Her entire life revolved around these two things, and they went together hand in hand. Being a devoted minister's wife for 60 years suited Shirley perfectly, and she loved to visit and give witness to people.

Shirley is survived by her son James and his wife Cindy White; and her daughter Jo Scott all of Ramona, OK; her siblings Marion and wife Donna Martin of Mustang, OK; Donnie and wife Janice Martin of Ft. Cobb; Jerry and wife Debbie Martin of Elk City, OK; Sue and husband Vernon Whaley of Rush Springs, OK; Louise and husband Glen Fowler of Duncan, OK; Jane and husband David Pearl of Mountain View, OK; her brother-in-law Clarence Brinkley of Haywood, OK; and her special companion & friend Vernon Lehman.

Shirley is preceded in death by her parents and sister Bernice Brinkley; her son John White and a granddaughter Kammie Scott.
