Rosa Lavelle White

???? ~ Jan. 22, 1998 | Age 83

CLOVIS, N.M. - Rosa Lavelle White, 83, died Thursday, Jan. 22, 1998.

Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Monday in Texico Cemetery at Texico with the Rev. Paul Burwash officiating.

Arrangements are by Muffley Funeral Home.

Mrs. White was born in Menardville, Texas, and had spent most of her life in Clovis. She attended San Antonio Beauty School in San Antonio, Texas, and was a licensed beautician in Texas and New Mexico.

She owned and operated Rose's Beauty Salon for 12 years before retiring in 1970.

She attended First Baptist Church.

She married Perry White in 1958.

Survivors include her husband; two sons, Melvin Cruse of Albuquerque and Dean Cruse of Waldorf, Md.; two daughters, Paula Davison of Port St. Lucie, Fla., and Easter King of Tupelo, Okla.; a sister, Hope Talley of Espanola; three brothers, J.R. Fowler of Yakima, Wash., Finish Fowler of Truth or Consequences and Marvin Fowler of Quartzite, Ariz.; 17 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
