Linda Pauline (Whitfill) White
May 27, 1942 ~ December 7, 2020

Celebration of Life service for Linda White, 78, of Enid, will be 10 a.m., Friday, Dec. 11, 2020, at Anderson-Burris Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Kenneth Wade, Rev. Mark McAdow, and Rev. Josh Cosby officiating. Arrangements are by Anderson-Burris Funeral Home & Crematory.

Linda was born on May 27, 1942, in Richmond, Calif., to Otis and Bertha Mae (Waldron) Whitfill and passed away in Enid on Dec. 7, 2020.

Linda graduated from Amarillo High School. On Aug. 5, 1961, Linda married John White "JT" in Amarillo, and they made their home in Amarillo. Linda worked as a executive assistant at McDonalds, an office manager at Foss Ford and the administrator of Mooreland Hospital.

Linda and JT had several auctions and furniture stores before she found her calling of owning and operating residential care homes in El Reno, Oklahoma City and Garber. Linda was on the Department of Mental Health Board and ORALA Board. She retired in 2014 to spend all her time with her family and friends.

Linda enjoyed playing cards at the Moose and loved watching her kids and grandkids in their many events. Linda and JT were married for 59 years, her greatest joy in life was her family.

Linda is survived by her husband JT; children Shellie Kraft and husband Butch, Mark White and wife Misty, and Gary White and wife Jenn; grandkids Christopher White and wife Kaylee, Taylor Gonzalez and husband Anthony, Hannah White and Nick Stewart, Tyler White, John White, and Bianca Kraft; great-grandkid Avery White and one on the way in January Delaney White; and sister Marilyn Carter.

Linda is preceded in death by her parents Otis and Bertha Mae Whitfill.
