Graveside service for Linda J. White will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, October 25, 2022, at Hardtner Cemetery in Hardtner, Kansas, with Dennis McBride officiating. Interment is under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home of Alva.
Linda J. White, daughter of the late Linn and Dorothea (Mather) Hutchinson, was born November 1, 1948, in Orange, California, and passed away October 18, 2022, in Cleo Springs, Oklahoma, at the age of 73 years, 11 months, and 17 days.
Linda attended schools and graduated in California. She met the love of her life, Rex White, and they were united in marriage September 30, 1968, in Garden Grove, California. He preceded her in death on May 28, 2004.
Linda had the sweetest disposition and loved children which made her well suited for childcare. She was a homemaker and raised and trained Mastiffs for show. Linda loved her dogs like family. In her later years she enjoyed taking classes to learn new crafts such as quilting and knitting.
Besides her parents and husband she is preceded in death by her son, Wiley.
She is survived by her sister-in-law, Sally White of Topeka, Kansas; nephew, Kelly Hall of Las Vegas, Nevada; niece, Shannon McBride and husband, Dennis, of Oilton; nephews, Sammy White of Broken Arrow, Casey White of Hot Springs, Arkansas; and her best friend Cynthia Baker; and many great nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made in her memory through the funeral home.
