Erma Lorene (Dunaway) White

November 11, 1934 ~ December 16, 2012

Erma Lorene White, daughter of J.T. and Sarah Jane (Harlin) Dunaway, was born November 11, 1934 in Stilwell, Oklahoma and departed this life to be with her Lord on Sunday, December 16, 2012 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma at the age of 78 years, 1 month and 4 days.

She loved animals, crafts, her plants and she could grow anything. She also loved sewing and cooking. She worked as a Quality Control Inspector for 28 years at Campbell Soup.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and siblings; Ella Mae Sims, Maxine Skidmore, Nelson Dunaway and daughter in law: Melvonna Dunaway.

Erma is survived by a very loving family that includes her husband: Joe White of the home in Stilwell, OK, four children: Joe Mike White of Los Alamos, NM, Debbie Hummingbird of Stilwell, OK, Ron Dunaway of Stilwell, Ok, Wendy Kimble and husband Jeff of Westville, OK, grandchildren: Heath Watt, Rachel and Rebecca Hummingbird, Dara, Cara, Sara Fountain, Hunter Littlejohn, Courtney and Dylan Kimble. Several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends also survive her.

Memorial services were held at 3 pm on Wednesday, December 19, 2012 at Roberts/Reed-Culver Chapel with Rev. Garner Pool officiating.
