Grace Nell Eanes Whitaker
October 24, 1936 ~ October 3, 2021

Services for Grace Nell Eanes Whitaker, formerly of Enid, OK, will be 2:00 p.m. on Monday, October 11th, at Cook-Walden Forest Oaks Funeral Home in Austin, Texas. A short viewing period will begin at 1:00 p.m. and will be followed by a graveside service.

Grace was born in San Antonio on October 24, 1936, and passed away peacefully at Garland Road Nursing Home in Enid, OK, on October 3, 2021, with her oldest son by her side.

Grace and her husband Bobby were married on June 12, 1955.

Grace loved her family very much. She liked nothing more than spending time with family and friends. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were very special to her. She had many friends the family the family grew up with.

Grace spent her working years in banking, loan companies and the State of Texas, then began enjoying retirement.

Grace was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Bobby; brother-in-law Jerry; parents Roy and Helen; aunts and uncles.

Grace is survived by son Larry and wife Eileen of Waukomis, OK; son Craig of the home; daughter Shari and husband Dennis of Tennessee; sister Kay and husband Mike of Oak Hill; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; nieces; and nephews.
