February 28, 1990 ~ July 12, 2021

Funeral services for Lonnie Lloyd Wheeler Jr., 31, of Fairview will be held at the Fairview Community Center on July 31st at 2:00 pm. Arrangements are by Fairview Funeral Home Inc.

Lonnie L. Wheeler Jr. was born February 28, 1990, in Montebello, California to Gina (Drake) Wheeler and Lonnie Wheeler, Sr. On July 12, 2021, Lonnie passed from this life.

Lonnie attended grade school through high school at Fairview where he graduated. He was a member of the High School Indoor Track team who won State and he enjoyed sports. He attended Northwest Technology School and excelled in welding. Lonnie was a skilled welder and worked various jobs around Fairview. Lonnie accepted Christ and was baptized at Central Christian Church. He was an outdoors kind of guy who liked to fish and hunt. Lonnie was a certified Level I technician and worked for Prime Inspections. He worked in Florida x-raying pipe line welds.

The love of his life was his daughter, Phoebe Wheeler. He cherished every moment he spent with her. She was his reason for being.

Lonnie was preceded in death by his grandparents, and a brother, Keith Wheeler.

He is survived by his daughter, Phoebe Wheeler of Fairview Ok, a brother, Brandon Wheeler, of Fairview, OK, a sister, Jessica Avila, of Clear Lake, California, a brother, Benny Avila of Clear Lake, California, a sister Teresa Morrison, Laughlin, NV, his parents of Fairview, and many other relatives and friends.

Lonnie’s smile, sense of humor and loyalty will be missed.
