July 27, 1939 - April 30, 2017

Celebration of life services for Terry S. Nichols Whaley, 77, Enid, will be held on Wednesday, May 10, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. in the Stittsworth Memory Chapel with Pastor Gene Long officiating. Arrangements are under the kind guidance of the Amy Stittsworth Funeral Service and Cremation Directors.

Terry was born on July 27, 1939 in Hennessey, Oklahoma, the daughter of Virgil and Elsie Miller Pogue, and passed away peacefully on April 30, 2017 at her residence.

She was raised in Enid and worked in the retail sector for most of her adult life. Terry was owner/operator of House of Carpet, later working for Kmart.

Survivors include her daughter, Sherry (Randy) Wilson of Ponca City; sons, Jim (Rhonda) Tappan, Eddie Tappan, and Tracy Bass; granddaughter, Shannon; grandsons, Jeff Tappan and Bodie Bass; brother, Ed (Shirley) Pogue; several nieces and nephews.
