Karen (Hadley) Wever
February 8, 1956 ~ September 7, 2014

Karen Hadley Wever, 58, of Tulsa and formerly of Bartlesville, died on Sunday, September 7, 2014 at the St. John Medical Center in Tulsa.

Memorial services for Karen will be held at 10 A.M. on Wednesday, September 10, 2014 in the Stumpff Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Kevin Tully of the Bartlesville First Church officiating. Memorial services and cremation are under the direction of the Stumpff Funeral Home & Crematory.

The Wever family will receive guests for visitation at the Stumpff Funeral Home on Tuesday evening from 5 P.M. until 7 P.M.

Memorial funds have been established and those who wish may send their contributions to Washington County Emergency Management, 3931 S.E. Adams Road, Bartlesville, Oklahoma 74006 or to the Tulsa SPCA, 2910 Mohawk Blvd., Tulsa, Oklahoma 74110.

Mrs. Wever was born on February 8, 1956 in Bartlesville the daughter of Bill and Mary Edith Hadley. She graduated from College High School in the Class of 1974. She attended Southwestern College in Winfield, Kansas and attained her Associates Degree from Rogers State in Claremore. She and Clifford Wever were united in marriage on February 28, 1985 She was presently employed by the Osage Casino as a Customer Service Representative.

She volunteered for several years for Disaster Relief which included assisting in the earthquake in California, Murrah Building in Oklahoma City, several floods in the eastern states, numerous grass fires in the Bartlesville area, the tornado in Ardmore and many more too numerous to mention. She enjoyed the culinary arts, spending time with friends and family including playing with her three dogs.

Karen is survived by her husband of 29 years, Clifford of Tulsa, her father, Bill Hadley of Bartlesville, her sister Linda and husband Kenneth Lilley of Houston, her nephews and niece, along with 5 grand nephews and 3 grand nieces. She was preceded in death by her mother Mary Edith Hadley.
