August 29, 1971 ~ February 2, 2021

Steve William Westbrook, longtime Ponca City resident, passed away February 2nd, 2021. Arrangements are under the direction of Trout Funeral Home & Crematory, 505 W Grand Ave, Ponca City, OK 74601.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, February 8, 2021, at Trout Funeral Home Chapel, with Chaplain Mike Sweetman officiating. Face masks are required. Those unable to attend the Mass may attend virtually on the Trout Funeral Home website, www.troutfuneralhome.com and click on the live-stream or toolbar icon on the top right corner after 1:45 PM.

Steve was born August 29, 1971, to Cynthia Yarbra, and was later adopted by Belmont and Wilma Westbrook. Steve grew up in the Oklahoma City area and later moved to Ponca City and made it his home. On June 6, 2012, Steve married the love of his life Whitnee Guinn. Steve was the ultimate jokester. He loved playing jokes and having fun with friends, enjoyed bonfires, and relished the long drives with Whitnee and his dog, Pheebee. Steve was very good at construction and took joy in his job at Kyler Construction.

Steve is survived by his wife, Whitnee Guinn; son, Broc Simon; father, Belmont Westbrook; sisters, Angela Janak and husband Rick, and Jana Andrews; brothers in law, Phil Guinn and wife Trish, and Spencer Guinn and wife Samantha; nieces and nephews, Karson Fowler, Karter Fowler, Chandler Fowler, Christopher Zachary, Erica Zachary, Julie Zachary, Sami Hall, Alexander Eubanks, and Joshua Andrews; great niece and nephew, Max Johnson and Kynlee Domeny; and his beloved dog Pheebee.

Steve is preceded in death by his mothers, Cynthia Yarbra, Wilma Westbrook, and Karen Westbrook.

Honorary casket bearers are Charles Taylor, Jason Oswalt, Ross Kyler, David Blackwell, Larry Hand, Danny Sivage and Mike Snow.
