Memorial services for Janet I. West, 64, will be at 11:00 AM Saturday November 21, 2020 at First Baptist Church officiated by Jimmy Berkenbile and Todd Cameron. Cremation arrangements are by Cordry-Gritz Funeral Home.
Janet was born in Rawlins, Wyoming on March 6, 1956 to Walt and Barbara Delambert Herod and died Monday November 16, 2020 at Integris Baptist Medical Center in Oklahoma City.
Janet graduated from Hennessey High School in 1975 and earned her bachelor’s degree from Phillips University.
She married David West in Canton on April 21, 2001.
Janet is survived by her husband Dave of the home; two daughters Frances Mochon, Danna McClurg, both of Hennessey; one son David West, Jr. of Freedom; her parents, Walt and Barbara Herod of Hennessey; one brother Danny Herod of Kansas City, Kansas; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one sister Joyce Teeples, and her first husband Daniel McClurg.
Memorial donations may be made in her name to First Baptist Church with the funeral home serving as custodian of the fund.
