Giva Logan West, age 96 of Guthrie, Oklahoma passed away November 9, 2016 in Guthrie. She was born on September 27, 1920 in Eureka Springs, Arkansas to Delphia R. and Victoria (Lough) Anderson.

Giva married James K. West, Jr. on February 2, 1956 in Eureka Springs, Arkansas. She moved to Guthrie in 2014 and previously lived in Edmond. She enjoyed raising her kids and grandchildren.

Survivors include her daughter Debbie W. Stein and husband Keith of Nicoma Park and son Danny West and wife Jackie of Edmond. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Giva was preceded in death by her parents, husband James in 1999, 1 son Jimmy Carmichael, 2 brothers, Delphia R. Anderson, Jr. and Morris Anderson and 2 sisters, Victoria Lough and Vandora E. Anderson.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, November 15, 2016 at Eureka Springs Municipal Cemetery with Clare Kelly officiating.

Services are under the direction of Hayes Funeral Home in Guthrie.
