WEST, David K. "Kim" 75, of Wesley Chapel, FL, passed away peacefully on August 24, 2024.
Born May 13, 1949, in Hutchinson, KS he was the son of the late Jack and Norma Jeanne West.
David "Kim" is survived by daughters, Nikki (Jim) Cooper and Natalie (Eric) West Southward; daughter-in-law, Heather West; grandchildren, Laci, Derek, Reese, Carson, Carter, Ethan, Owen, Aaliyah, Amarri, Marissa, and Bryce; two nephews and two nieces, and many extended family and friends.
He was married to Sue West for 45 years and remained close with her until the end.
David "Kim" was preceded in death by his twin brother, Douglas Carson, and his beloved son, Nathan West.
David "Kim" attended Enid High School Enid, OK graduating in 1967, and then Fort Wayne Bible College, Fort Wayne, IN later transferring to Indiana University.
He worked for Verizon for 33 years before retiring in 2012.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at New River Church, 4210 Ernest Dr., Wesley Chapel, FL on Saturday, September 7, 2024, at noon.
Lunch reception after the service.
