Anna (Brabec) Wesley
October 20, 1918 ~ July 10, 2012 (age 93)

Wesley, Anna, 93, passed away Tuesday, July 10, 2012, in Norman, Oklahoma.  She was born October 20, 1918, in Dardanelle, Arkansas, to Antone and Annie (Klober) Brabec.  She was united in marriage to Antone B. Wesley on April 19, 1938, at the St. Augustine Catholic Church in Dardanelle, Arkansas.

Anna was raised in Dardanelle, Arkansas, and graduated high school in 1936. Later marrying Antone, together they farmed from 1938 until 1960. Anna was always thinking of others.  She loved helping out any way she could.  She helped with Meals On Wheels and loved baking goods for other individuals. Anna loved making flower arrangements, baking, embroidery, reading her Bible and working on word searches.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Antone Wesley, brothers Antone Brabec and Frank Brabec, granddaughter Jennifer Dunaway and son-in-law Dewey Lieberman.

Survivors include daughter Doris Lieberman of Norman; sister Frances Wesley of Dardanelle, Arkansas; four grandchildren Lisa Stafford and Doug of Norman, Oklahoma; Sharon Barbee and Mike of Norman, Oklahoma; Sarah Bramlage and Robert Irby of Moore, Oklahoma and Susan Lieberman Porch of Norman, Oklahoma; seven great grandchildren Ben, Paul, Eric, Michael, Rebekah, Anna and Julia.  Anna was survived by a host of family and friends.

Rosary Service will be held 7:00 p.m., Thursday, July 12, 2012, in the Chapel of the Havenbrook Funeral Home under the direction of Chaplain Harry Smith. Funeral Service will be held 2:00 p.m., Friday, July 13, 2012, at the St. Augustine Catholic Church under the direction of Father Clayton Gould of Dardanelle, Arkansas.
