Joseph George "Bear" Werts

August 4, 1950 ~ January 5, 2022

Joseph George Werts (Bear) passed away on January 5, 2022 in Bartlesville, Oklahoma at the age of 71. Bear was born on August 2, 1950 in Bartlesville, OK to Leamon Arkison Werts and Louise Gage.

Bear worked as a machinist at spears. On June 26, 2003, he married Sue Werts. He enjoyed fishing and riding his motorcycle.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Leamon and Louise Werts; many friends and family- some close some not; and brother in law, Melvin Call.

He is survived by special friend, Sue Werts; sons, Jospeh Edward Werts, and Randy Joe Werts; and several grandchildren; sister, Mary Call; brother, Jimmie Werts; sister in law, Linda Werts; and several niece and nephews.

Services will be held at a later date.
