Julianna Grace Wenger was born September 25, 2017 in Fairview Oklahoma to Lester and Renee (Koehn) Wenger and departed this world on September 27, 2017 at the OU Children's Hospital in Oklahoma City.
Our sweet, darling baby and first born, Julianna Grace Wenger, was born Monday afternoon, September 25, 2017 at Fairview, Oklahoma to us, her parents, Lester and Renee Wenger. Due to complications at her birth, she required immediate medical attention, and the Doctors and Nurses at the Fairview Hospital did a wonderful job of stabilizing her for transport to the OU Children's Hospital in Oklahoma City later that evening. The Physicians and Nurses in the OU Neonatal Intensive Care Unit also did their best in trying to help Julianna live. They claimed she was a fighter, but by Wednesday morning it became apparent her medical issues were stronger than her will to live. We spent the morning holding her, loving her, and tearfully saying goodbye. She passed away at 2:37 the afternoon of September 27 th . She was ours to love and cherish for just 48 hours, and though our grief is overwhelming, our hearts are comforted that she is at home with Jesus. A heart condition and pulmonary hyper-tension caused her death. Daddy treasures the look he received from her at the Fairview Hospital when she opened her eyes and looked straight at him. Mommy thought she had her Daddy's personality with his sweet, calm, temperament. We commit our hopes and dreams, our tears, heartaches, and pain, to our Loving Heavenly Father who doeth all things well and makes no mistakes.
Left to cherish her in loving memory are her Daddy and Mommy, Lester and Renee Wenger, who recently relocated to Fairview, Oklahoma; Paternal Grandparents Menno and Alta Wenger of Mifflinburg, Pennsylvania and Maternal Grandparents Merle and Rebecca Koehn of Angleton, Texas. Also her Paternal Uncles and Aunts; Lyndon and Denise Unruh and son Trevyn of Greensburg, Kansas; Gerald and Malinda Wenger and children Kaitlyn, Sharon, Josiah, Gabriel, Laraine, and Everett of Mifflinburg; Lucille Wenger of Mifflinburg; Dale and Janet Penner and sons Brycen and Kaden of St. Mary's, Ontario; Eunice Wenger and Joanne Wenger of Moundridge, Kansas; Ernest and Rosanna Wenger of Mifflinburg; Arlyn and Karen Wenger and son Jacen of Hillcrest, Wisconsin; Rosalie Wenger of Coon Valley, Wisconsin.
