Charles Allen "Chuck" Wendelbo
June 25, 1932 ~ August 11, 2016 (age 84)

Charles Allen Wendelbo (Chuck), 84, passed away on Thursday, August 11, 2016 in Norman, Oklahoma. Chuck was born on June 25, 1932 in Noonan, North Dakota to Alfred H. and Andrea Kristjane Wendelbo.

He was a graduate of Pembina High School and went on to attend the North Dakota State School of Science.  From 1952-1955, Chuck served our country as a member of the United States Army.

After his military service, Chuck attended the University of North Dakota and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering.  Chuck worked 36 years as an electrical engineer for Collins Radio, Conoco Inc., and Tinker Air Force Base. On August 4, 1962 Chuck married his wife of 54 years, Marilyn Jaquith, in Seiling, Oklahoma. They were blessed with 2 sons, Chris and Eric.  Chuck was a dessert enthusiast, storyteller, gardener, repairman, and had a passion for sharing his understanding of how objects work. 

He is loved and will be missed by his wife Lynn, brother Al, sons Chris and his wife Sue, Eric and his wife Jenny, and three granddaughters, Hannah, Rachael, and Sarah. 

Services are 2:00 pm, Tuesday August 16th at McFarlin United Methodist Church in Norman, OK. 

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to: Center for Children and Families, 210 S. Cockrel, Ave., Norman, OK 73071
