She moved to Enid at the age of 15 where she attended and graduated from Enid High School.
Nancy married Dennis Wells on August 5, 1977 in Enid. Nancy had several very successful careers throughout her life, the most notable one would be her role as business owner for her answering service, Oklahoma Connection. Nancy and her husband, Dennis, purchased Oklahoma Connection in 1999 and ran the business until she retired in 2009. Nancy's family would always say she did everything out of pure love and was straight shooter.
Nancy is survived by her husband Dennis of the home; four children, Amy and husband Jeff Mitchell of Bison, OK, Bryan and wife Natalie Mason of Enid, OK, Keith Mason of Enid, OK, and Chris Wells of Arkansas; 13 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; siblings, Mary Ellen "Ming" Maggard and husband Rick, Patti Cooley, Steve Hutson and wife Becky, Sharon Hughes and husband Donald, Karen Greenwald; and numerous family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Joe; a sister, Suzie; and son, Nicky Wells.
In lieu of flowers, the family would like all memorials to be made to Enid First Church of the Nazarene's children's department, 324 N Cleveland St, Enid, OK 73703.
