Amanda Wells, a lifelong resident of Durant, a loving mother, grandmother, daughter and friend passed away at Alliance Health in Durant, Oklahoma on Monday, March 23rd, 2020 at the age of 44. There will be no funeral services for Amanda Wells at this time.
Amanda Wells was born on March 13th, 1976, in Durant, Oklahoma to Bobby Wells & Opal Faye Wells. Amanda was a caregiver and loved helping others. She loved to sing and dance and loved her children and grandchildren.
Amanda Wells is survived by her sons: Paul Shepard and wife, Sarah Watson of Durant, Oklahoma, Jonathan Shepard, Jarin Martin and wife, Brandi Watkins of Durant, Oklahoma. Grandchildren: Ian Shepard, Kaydem Martin, and Alaina Faye Leeann Shepard. Father: Bobby Wells and stepmom, Norma Wells of Durant, Oklahoma. Brother: Tom Wells of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Sister: Yolanda Wells and husband Earnest Porter of Denison, Texas, and Sarah Wells and husband Joshua Gibbs of Sherman, Texas. Nephews: Billy Brown II, of Durant, Oklahoma, Zachary Robertson of Sherman, Texas, Jeremiah Robertson of Sherman, Texas, Devan Gibbs of Sherman, Texas. Cousins: Lacinda Mowdy of Durant, Oklahoma, Margaret Anzaldua of Durant, Oklahoma, Betty Pair of Durant, Oklahoma, Diane Neese of Durant, Oklahoma, Anna Reynolds of Randolph, Texas and many other cousins and relatives.
Amanda Wells was preceded in death by Mother: Opal Faye Wells. Aunts: Edna Cameron, Anna Mae Williams, and Irene Billey. Cousins: Angie Anzaldua, Tabitha Bledsoe and Sandra Anzaldua.
