Hazel Rice Weldon, 70, of Amarillo, died Thursday, Jan. 22, 1998.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Llano Cemetery with the Rev. Michael Carter of River Road Baptist Church officiating. Arrangements are by Blackburn-Shaw Funeral Directors, Memorial Chapel, Fifth Avenue and Pierce Street.
Ms. Weldon was born in Ural, Okla., and moved to Amarillo in the 1960s. She was a homemaker. She worked at Maywood. She was Baptist.
Survivors include a son, Franklin Eugene Rice of Amarillo; a brother, C.B. Lewis of Wynnewood, Okla.; six sisters, Lois Wallace of Anniston, Ala., Helen Shipp of Claude, Bernice Titus and Wanda Moore, both of Tulia, Dorothy Kincaid of Forreston and Lena Gamble of Amarillo; three grandchildren; and friend, Donna Grove of Amarillo.
The family requests memorials be to the Khiva Temple travel fund.
The body will be available for viewing at the funeral home from today until service time.
