Thomas Atchley Welborn

May 7, 1921 ~ April 21, 2006

Thomas Atchley Welborn, 84, of Rogers died Friday (21 April 2006) in Rogers.

He was born May 7, 1921, in Fletcher, Okla., to Arthur A. and Chelsa Welborn Hoskins.

He served in the U. S. Army during World War II and later worked as a farmer.

He attended Farmington Baptist Church.

Survivors include a daughter, Nancy Shaver of Rogers; a son, Sammy R. Welborn of Rogers; a brother, Jessie Welborn of Lincoln; three sisters, Burna Clark of York, Neb., Ollie Andrews of Independence, Ala., and Betty Dean of Springdale; four grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.

Visitation will be 6~8 p. m. Monday at Nelson~Berna Funeral Home. Funeral will be 10 a. m. Tuesday at Farmington Baptist Church with the Rev. Preston Beeks officiating.

Burial will follow at Farmington Cemetery.
