Audrey R (Farkas) Weir

Audrey R. Weir, formerly of Johnstown, Pennsylvania, was born September 21, 1937 to Gazella and Victor Farkas. She passed away June 12, 2015 at her daughter's home in Burns Flat, Oklahoma at the age of 77 years, 8 months and 21 days.

Audrey grew up in Johnstown where she graduated from high school. She was later married to Norman Weir and they remained in Johnstown to make their home. Norman passed away in 2009 and she later moved to Burns Flat, OK in 2013 to be near her daughter. Audrey was a follower of the Catholic Faith and also belonged to the VFW, Johnstown CFU Cambria City Lodge #5 and the Cambria City Community Club. She enjoyed reading and spending time with her family. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. At Audrey's request, there will be no viewing or service.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her daughter, Tracy Hawkins and husband, Ty, Burns Flat, OK; 5 grandchildren, Ty Hawkins, Jr., Burns Flat, OK, Michael Weir, Blairsville, PA, Thomas Weir, Burns Flat, OK, Timothy Hawkins, Victoria, TX and Samantha Roles, Elk City, OK; 3 great grandchildren, Ashton, Haylie and Jeremy: a brother, Victor Farkas and wife, Mary, Oxford, PA; a good friend, Karin Davis, Seward, PA; many nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
