BEATRICE SUE WEIMER Services: Friday, June 11, 9:30 a.m.
Graveside services will be held in Greenlawn Southwest Memorial Park, 2739 Panama Lane and Hyw. 99, for Beatrice Sue Weimer known as "Nana" to her family.
She went home to be with Jesus early in the morning on June 6, 2004.
Bea was born to Clark and Florence Mount on October 18, 1931, and lived in Oklahoma until she met and married Charles Weimer on May 10, 1947. On May 10, 2004, Bea and Charles were able to celebrate their 57th wedding anniversary.
During those 57 years in 1974 she gave her life to Jesus, where she served her Lord at Liberty Christian Center with all her heart.
She was always planting the seeds of God's love to all that she came in contact with. In between those years she served as President of the WM's of her church. She was always giving to people in need without anything in return.
Her favorite pastime was crocheting beautiful afghans and gave them away to whoever she could.
Preceding Bea in death was her twin sister, Betty; her mother, Florene; her father, Clark and brother, Kenneth. During her illness her loving family was by her side. She had that special spot in her heart for her granddaughter, Tammy, that helped her through the tough times with her illness. Bea is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Charles; daughter, Pam Rubinol and son-in-law, Jesus; son, Charles L. Weimer and daughter-in-law, Marsha and daughter, Cindy Myers. She is also survived by brother, Gene Mount and sister-in-law, Mary of Oklahoma City, OK; several grandchildren; great grandchildren; and various other relatives of Bakersfield, CA.
The family would like to thank all the Kaiser doctors, and Optimal Hospice for their loving care and support. Bea was a virtuous woman and Proverbs 31:28 tells us, "Her children rise up and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her."
Our family is blessed to call Bea a virtuous woman. She will be forever in our hearts until we meet her again in Heaven.
We love you Nana with all our hearts.
Visitation begins Thursday, 11:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m.
