Alvin Dean Weigand

Alvin Dean Weigand
February 5, 1936 ~ 2022

Dean was a lifelong resident of Okeene, being born February 5, 1936, to Alvin Henry and Evelyn Leisher Weigand.  In his final days, he was surrounded by his family, Justin Dean and Johnna Lynn, along with his grandson, Kody Dean and great-grandson, Landon Dean.

 He was a wheat farmer, a carpenter and a bus driver for the Okeene ISD for 34 years.  He served two years in the Army and two years in the reserves.

He is survived by his immediate family, along with one brother, Thomas Weigand of Bison and one sister, Mary Ann Metzler Johnson of Thomas.  Nieces Melonee Metzler and Angie Weigand Holsten and great niece Natalie Holsten and others.  

Please feel free to join us to celebrate his life with a visitation on Friday, December 30, 2022 from 2-4p.m. at Wilkinson Mortuary in Okeene, Oklahoma.  Viewing hours 2-8p.m.
