Pastor Eugene "Yogi" Webster

January 21, 1928 ~ February 20, 2012

Pastor Eugene "Yogi" Webster, age 84, of Follett, Texas, passed away Monday, February 20, 2012. Memorial Service will be 1:00 PM Saturday, March 3, 2012, at Central Assembly of God Church. Burial will be at 11:00 AM Saturday, March 10, 2012 at Fairmont Cemetery in Follett. Cremation arrangements are by Anderson-Burris Funeral Home, Enid.

Eugene was born January 21, 1928, to David Orfa and Ethel (Skidmore) Webster southeast of Dacoma. He graduated from Carmen-Dacoma High School, and attended Central Wyoming College, Okmulgee Tech, and Bible College in Baxter Springs, Kansas. Eugene was an active member of the 45th (Thunderbird) Infantry Division during the Korean War. On July 11, 1954, he married Lucy Payne in Enid. They pastored churches in Arkansas, Oklahoma, New Mexico, and Wyoming.

He is survived by wife Lucy of the home; two sons, Justin of Enid, and Glen of Pauls Valley; two daughters, Pat Rose and husband Rich of Fairfield, Iowa, and Dora Crook and husband Rodger of Follett; eight grandchildren; five great grandchildren; sister Virginia Green and husband Floyd of Enid; numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Eugene was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, Bob, S.J. and Paul Dean, sister Juanita Graham, son Leon, and daughter-in-law Robyn.

Memorials are to Apostolic Faith Bible College, Box 110, Baxter Springs, KS.
