The funeral services celebrating and honoring the life of James Webber, 75, of Enid, will be held privately.

Complete cremation care and services are under the direction of Brown-Cummings Funeral Home.

The memorial services celebrating and honoring the life of James “Jim” Webber will be held privately. Complete cremation Care and services are under the direction of Brown-Cummings Funeral Home.

Jim was born August 9, 1946, to John and Marjorie Shane Webber in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania and passed from this life January 2, 2022, in Enid, Oklahoma.

He moved to Enid as a young boy and was raised and educated in Enid graduating from Enid High School in 1964. He worked at Boles wood mill and Athey’s Lumber company. He then started Webber Construction Company, that he owned and operated until the time of his death. He married Landa Hargrove August 8, 2018, in Enid.

He enjoyed shooting pool, playing, watching, and “coaching” sports from the court, grandstands, or the couch.

He is survived by his wife Landa, of the home, two daughters, Johnna Davidson, of Enid, and Jamie Schreiber, of Ardmore, two sons Shane Detlaff, of St. Louis, Missouri, and Jay Henslow, of Enid; nine grandchildren, and four siblings, Johnna and brother-in-law Denny Kulage, of Enid, Clearence Webber, of Las Vegas, Nevada, Thomas Webber and and John Webber, of Enid.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers Dallas and Melvin Webber.
