Edwin Hilper aka Kenneth Webb
November 6, 1953 ~ March 29, 2020 (age 66)

Kenneth Webb, 66, of Shawnee, Oklahoma passed away Sunday, March 29, 2020 in Shawnee.

He was born Edwin Hilpert on November 6, 1953 to Johanna Hanzi Hilpert in Aschaffenburg, Germany and adopted by Frank and Daisy (Lowe) Webb.

Kenneth was raised in Del City, Oklahoma and graduated from Del City High School with the class of 1972. He earned his Associate’s degree from Rose State University. He has lived in Shawnee for the past 15 years.

Kenneth married Kay Akin on November 25, 1978 in Del City, Oklahoma.

He retired from Tinker Air Force Base as a Metallurgical Lab Technician.

Kenneth was a member of Temple Baptist Church in Shawnee. He enjoyed playing the violin, riding motorcycles, photography and woodworking.

He was preceded in death by his father, Frank Webb; and mother, Daisy Webb.

Survivors include his wife, Kay Webb of the home; daughter, Kellie and Matt Stanley of Prague, OK; 2 grandchildren, Brooke and Heidi Stanley of Prague, OK; 2 brothers, David and Janice Webb of Atlanta, GA and Rick Lesperance of Midwest City, OK; his mother, Wanda Webb of Shawnee, OK; and other extended family and friends.

Visitation will be from 12:00 noon to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 1, 2020 at Cooper Funeral Home. Private Family Graveside Service will be held with Reverend Mike Craig officiating under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh.
