James Dyane Webb

October 11, 1949 ~ May 30, 2004

Memorial service for James Dyane Webb, age 54, of Chickasha, Oklahoma, will be held at a later date.

James Dyane Webb was born the son of O. B. Webb and Letha Faye Baxter Webb on October 11, 1949, in Chickasha, Oklahoma. He died on May 30, 2004, at his home in Chickasha.

James grew up in Chickasha attending school here. He lived a very versatile life, holding many varied jobs, including working for Leonard Hillary for five years. He roughnecked for Phillips Petroleum on an off- shore oil rig in Louisiana, where he had also worked as a tugboat hand in Morgan City, Louisiana, falling in love with tugboats. James worked at Traders, Chickasha Nursing Center, Braum's Dairy, and at USAO as a janitor, and most recently for the City of Chickasha in the grounds department.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy Webb in 2003, his parents, and a half-sister, Coweda Carol Baxter.

Survivors include his daughter, Martha Rae Webb; sister, Letha Crowell of Chickasha; sister, Mary Baxter of Oklahoma City; sister Linda June Thompson of Kearnysville, West Virginia; sister, Madelyn Carrie Helm of Salina, Kansas; sister, Patricia Jean Self of Atoka; half-brother, Samuel Harry Baxter, Jr. of Salina Kansas.

Arrangements for cremation was by the McRay Funeral Home.
