Earline (Gelushia) Blue Webb

Cushing resident, Earline (Gelushia) Blue Webb, 82 years old, died May 19, 2011 at the Linwood Village Nursing Home in Cushing.

Earline donated her body to medical science.

Her memorial service will be announced at a later time pending the arrival of her son, Robert Blue, of Hemet, CA.

The daughter of Lafe and Mittie Gelushia, she was born and raised in Drumright and her first job was at Woody's Photo Studio.

Later she worked nearly 40 years at Parlett Studio in Cushing. At that time all Cushing High School senior pictures were taken there, so she is well known by several generations of students from the surrounding area.

She also worked at Reiley's Grocery and Brownlee's Grocery.

She loved fishing and watching sports on television.

She was a long time member of the First United Methodist Church of Cushing and until her health failed she was an active member donating many hours of service to her church.

Survivors include her only son, Robert Blue, Hemet, CA; two granddaughters, Kerri Hysaw and her husband Phillip, their children Hayden Taylor, Isaiah and Natalia Hysaw; and Sarah Bass and her children Timberaly Shadowen and Tylan and Daleighsya Bass; one grandson, Justin Bass; all of Cushing. In addition she has three brothers, Paul Gelushia and his wife, Marge of Doniphan, MO, Clifford Gelushia and his wife, Shirley, of Aurora, CO and Ed Gelushia of Stillwater; one sister, Georgia David, of Doniphan, MO; four step-sons who live in Louisiana, several cousins and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Floyd Blue and their daughter, Peggy Bass of Cushing; and her second husband, William Webb.
