Meda Carol (Jeffries) Weaver
January 28, 1932 ~ May 22, 2015

Meda Carol Weaver, 83, of Braman, Oklahoma, died peacefully at Baptist Medical Center in Oklahoma City on Friday, May 22, 2015.

She was born on January 28, 1932, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, to Arthur and Hazel Jeffries, and grew up in Ada, Oklahoma. She Married David "Smiley" Weaver on September 15, 1949, and continued living in Ada until retiring and moving to Braman, Oklahoma, in 1995. Carol will be especially remembered for her devotion to her husband and family and her steadfast faith and following of Jesus Christ.

Survivors include her faithful husband of 65 years, David "Smiley" Weaver of Braman, Oklahoma; three daughters, Ann Weaver of Dallas, Texas, Pamela Weaver of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and Vicki Hillhouse and husband Larry of Braman, Oklahoma; one son, David Weaver and wife Cynthia of Ada, Oklahoma; 7 grandchildren, Wella Diehl, Lori (Hillhouse) Wiltse, Larry Hillhouse, Nicole (Weaver) Manuel, Jesse Weaver, Cole Weaver and Nathan Weaver; one sister, Geneda Schaffrin of St. Louis, Missouri; one brother, James Jeffries and wife Shirley of Ada, Oklahoma; and numerous nieces, nephews and grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Mary Ellen Hatchett.

A private memorial service was held at her home in Braman, Oklahoma for family members.

A memorial has been established with the Rheumatology Research Foundation, 2200 Lake Boulevard, Atlanta, Georgia 30319.
