LoRetha Lee "Retha" Watts
April 7, 1939 ~ April 22, 2017

LoRetha (Retha) Watts went to be with the Lord on Saturday, April 22, 2017 at the Ponca City hospital surrounded by her husband and children. Retha was born on April 7, 1939 in Blackwell, Oklahoma to William David and Mable Barrows.

A memorial service will be held at Bethesda Assembly of God at the corner of First and Oklahoma on Saturday, April 29, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor John Jack of the House of Prayer Blackwell officiating. Interment will be held at a later date.

Retha grew up in Blackwell and married Earl Junior Beard. They were married for 32 years. Later, she married Dal Watts. Retha and Dal were married for 28 years at the time of her death. Retha was blessed with 9 children and 32 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, 7 great-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Retha enjoyed going to garage sales and craft shows as well as camping, fishing, and cookouts with her children and grandchildren. She loved crafting and holiday baking especially with her granddaughter, Mary.

Retha is survived by her four daughters, Susie Sharp and husband Allen, Patricia Prince and husband Johnny, Vicky Ingram and husband David all of Blackwell and Michelle Snow and husband Michael of Springtown, Texas, two sons, Bobby Beard and wife Gayla of Blackwell and Earl Beard and wife Terri of Harrison, Arkansas.

She was preceded in death by three daughters, Brenda Manuel, Ronda Paige, and Wilma Beard. Also preceding her in death were her parents, three brothers, Billy Barrows, David Barrows, and Charles Barrows, and one sister, Wanda Bartosovsky.
