William Robert "Bob" Watson
April 15, 1945 ~ April 7, 2016

The Celebration of Life for William Robert "Bob" Watson will be 3:00pm Friday, April 15, 2016 in the Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home Chapel. The family requests those attending to share their favorite story of Bob. Services are under the direction of Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home. Bob was born April 15, 1945 in Henderson, Kentucky to Rufus and Virginia (Burton) Watson and passed away April 7, 2016 at his home in Waukomis.

Bob spent his childhood in Kentucky and moved to Oklahoma in 1972. He joined the United States Marine Corp in 1962 and was stationed in Okinawa, Japan during the Vietnam War where he served in the artillery division. Later, he was stationed at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina and was honorably discharged in 1966.

On June 21, 2008, Bob married his soulmate, Melissa Timm. Bob loved his lengthy career in the gas pipeline industry. He enjoyed working for various pipeline companies where he ran all types of heavy equipment and traveled all over the country.

Bob treasured countless days at the lake on his boat and riding his motorcycle on long journeys. He had a love for music, large parties and lived life to the fullest.

He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Frieda Winters.

Bob is survived by wife, Melissa; daughter, Natalie Nagel and husband, Darrin of Garber; daughter, Robin Hodges and husband, Mark of Owasso; stepson, Hunter Timm; brother, Jack Watson and wife, Patricia of Wadesville, Indiana; sister, Linda Gaines of Tulsa; granddaughters, Emily and Elyssa Nagel and grandsons, Keagan and Trevin Hodges as well as friends too numerous to count.

Memorial contributions may be given through the funeral home to Marines Toys for Tots.
