Eunice Dell Watson, age 73, passed away at her home in Barnsdall, Oklahoma on December 9, 2021.
She was born on November 14, 1948, to Lonnie and Velva Barkley. Eunice is survived by her daughter Brenda Staton and her husband Chris of Barnsdall, OK; daughter, Crystal Losinske and her husband Tim of Bartlesville, OK; son, Brent "Bud" Scoggins and his wife Vicky of El Paso, TX; five grandchildren, Nicole Russell and fiancé Phillip Cross Jr. of Pawhuska, OK, Cody Russell of Bartlesville, OK, Jesse, Cynthia, and Angel Scoggins, all of El Paso, TX; four great-grandchildren, Xavier, McKenzie, Trinity, and Alexis Cross, all of Pawhuska, OK; In-laws, Helen Barkley of Lenapah, OK, and Denise Barkley of Bartlesville, OK; also many nieces, nephews, and special friends, Dee and Mike Nolen.
Eunice is preceded in death by her parents, Lonnie S. Barkley and Velva Marie Copeland; brother, Ivan Barkley; sister, Wanda and Leon Aultz; brother, Bob Barkley; brother, Vernon Barkley; and sister, Janice and her husband Jack Swift.
Eunice was raised in Barnsdall, Oklahoma, where she graduated from Barnsdall High School in 1964. She went on to graduate from RSU, pursuing her career in nursing. She retired in 2007. In 2012 her new career began. She devoted her time caring for her great-grandson and in 2016 her great-granddaughter until her passing.
Eunice was a very selfless person. Eunice was also an extreme Kansas City Chiefs fan. Sundays were her game days, she loved to watch them play through the good and the bad.
Eunice's wishes were to not have a service. In lieu of flowers, the family is asking that donations be made to a local animal shelter in memory of Eunice.
Eunice will be missed by so many! Go Chiefs!!!
