Evelyn "Jeanie Girl" Watson

Evelyn “Jeanie Girl” Watson, age 70, a lifelong resident of Madill passed away day, July 23, 2015 at Brookside Nursing Home in Madill, Oklahoma. She was born on October 9, 1944 to Arthur Watson, Sr. and Juanita Smith in Madill. Emilio Caulderon was her partner for many years. Evelyn attended Madill High School. She worked as a housekeeper at Brookside Nursing Home and as a cook at the Rocket in Dallas, Texas. She was a member at the First Missionary Baptist Church. Evelyn loved going to the casino, cooking, babysitting babies, giving away Pepsi and cheese and most of all her family.

She is survived by her son, Michael Watson of Dallas, TX; partner, Emilio Caulderon of Madill, OK; sister, Gloria Sanders and husband Ray Charles of Madill, OK; brother, Arthur Wade Watson, Jr. of Las Vegas, NV; aunt, Iona Smith of Madill, OK; mother, Juanita Smith of Dallas, TX; grandson, Alex Cole Jason of Cheyenne, WY; cousin, Eunice Gardener of Truth or Consequences, NM; along with numerous nieces and nephews and other relatives and many dear and loved friends.

She is preceded in death by her father, Arthur Watson, Sr., step-father, Jonnie Noble, grandmother, University Smith, grandfather, Sherman Smith, uncle, Vernie Smith and Eugene Fields.
