Lavone Rosetta (Hamner) Watkins

September 5, 1924 ~ May 24, 2010

Watkins, Lavone R., 85, of Midwest City, OK went to be with the Lord May 24, 2010. She was born September 5, 1924 in Heavener, OK to Ed and Beulah Hamner. She moved to Midwest City in 1951 and was a long time member of Westminster Road Baptist Church.

Lavone was preceded in death by her husband, Joey Watkins, parents Ed and Beulah Hamner, sisters Thelma Phipps Deadman and Loraine Hamner.

Lavone is survived by her brother Charles Hamner, daughter Jolene Maxberry and husband Ralph, son Kenneth Watkins and wife Billie. Grandchildren Joel Maxberry and wife, Lesha, Tim Maxberry and Diana, William Watkins, Michael Watkins and wife Kacey and Joseph Watkins. Great grandchildren Emily Maxberry, April Maxberry and fiancé Brent Deaver as well as many nieces and nephews.

She was a homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her family.
