Harley Ann Waters

Harley Ann Waters
October 13, 2001 ~ August 13, 2023

Harley Ann Waters, 21 year old former Woodward resident, passed away Sunday, August 13, 2023. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 22, 2023 in the Billings Funeral Home Chapel. A private family burial will take place at a later date.

Harley was born and raised in Woodward, Oklahoma. Harley is survived by her parents, Chris Waters and Denise Longhofer, along with stepfather Justin; siblings Tiffany Fluitt, Joshua Fluitt & wife Samantha, Mica Fierstos & wife Natalie, Kilee Waters & fiance Steven, Kyle Waters, stepbrothers Avery Rumley & fiancee Jennifer, Sebastian Rumley & wife Danielle, stepsisters Jacylin, Shaelynn, and Madison Longhofer. Grandparents: Eugene & Phyllis Meyer, Patty Davis; Aunts and Uncles: Marc & Debbie Clemence, Stace Meyer, Steve Meyer, Travis & April Waters, Terry & Crystal Waters, and Christine & Russel Smith. She also leaves behind numerous cousins and friends. Harley was an incredibly loving aunt to: Aspen Fluitt, Kash Fluitt, Rylan Fluitt, Kaeden Wolff, Olivia Fluitt, Matthew Fluitt, and Ridge Fierstos.

She was preceded in death by her loving grandfather Bobbie Waters and great grandparents Hugh & Mildred Winslow, Elmer & Alberta Peach, Woodrow Waters, and Joe & Emma Jean Black.

Harley was always a happy quick-witted child. She loved hard and she made a difference in so many people's lives. As a little girl, she was part of the McDonalds coffee group. She would go with her Mimi and Papa; she was certainly the center of attention. She may have been involved in a few good-natured pranks too.

In her school years she loved 4H and FFA. She always had a passion for animals. She showed pigs like her brothers before her. She and her brothers tried their hands at raising pigs as well. She did try her hand at Goat's (Goats 1 Harley 0). How could anything be more stubborn than her, she met her match! As she got older she turned her attention to horses, they were therapy for her. If given the chance & money she would have owned 100!

Once Harley was out on her own, she moved to Midland, Texas. While in Midland she worked for Luke Eye Associates. Finally, Harley found a place and interest that she enjoyed. Not to mention a pair of glasses for all her outfits and trust me she has a lot of clothes!

The hardest part for Harley living so far away was that she missed her nieces and nephews dearly. She took every chance she could to Facetime the kiddos and talk to them. She would call them her babies; they were the most important people in her life.

Harley's one constant in the last couple of years was her best buddy OD (Odin), her schnauzer. OD was her best friend (next to her Daddy) and confidante. He went everywhere with her.

Harley will be dearly missed and, in our hearts, forever.

In lieu of flowers, please donate in her name to Woodward Domestic Crisis Center.
