Sheila Kay (Kelly) Warwick

Sheila Kay Warwick, 73, of Ochelata, passed away Sunday, August 26, 2018.

Sheila was born September 6, 1944 in Parsons, Kansas to parents Clifford and Tresa (Christen) Kelly. She attended and graduated from St. Patrick's High School in Parsons, Kansas. Sheila then went to Pittsburg State University. She then received her Master's degree in English Literature from Oklahoma State University.

Sheila married William E. Warwick in Parsons, Kansas in 1966 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church. The couple had three children, Matt, Meredith and Amanda ""Mandy"". The couple just celebrated their 52nd wedding anniversary.

Sheila started her teaching career at Caney Valley grade school in 1966. She then went on to teach at Caney Valley High School and then at Rogers State University in Bartlesville, Claremore and Pryor before retirement.

She was an avid reader, especially anything concerning history, going to garage sales and spending time with family. She was also an excellent cook and loved to feed her family.

Sheila was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband, William of the home; three children Matt, Meredith and Amanda ""Mandy"" and five grandsons, Connor, Daniel, Joshua, Kellan and Rory.

A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
