Bjorg "Bea" Warwick
February 11, 1939 ~ February 16, 2019

Bjorg Warwick, 80, of Norman, OK, passed away unexpectedly, yet peacefully on Saturday, February 16, 2019 at her home. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, February 21, 2019 in the Chapel of Havenbrook Funeral Home.

Bjorg “Bea” was born in Kristiansand, Norway on February 11, 1939. She came to the U.S. in 1958 at the age of 19. While in NYC, she worked as a dental assistant. She met her husband, Walter, also from Norway, and they married in 1961. They had three daughters and after multiple moves, settled in Norman, Oklahoma. Bjorg worked many years at Lows Apparel in Norman. She was an active member of the Scandinavian Club for many years. She epitomized what it meant to be kind and generous to everyone she met. Her greatest treasures were her family and her friends.

Bjorg is preceded in death by her parents and her loving husband of 44 years, Walter. She is survived by daughters: Carol Abel of OKC, OK, Linda Warwick of Tulsa, OK, and Irene Warwick (Sandy) of Tulsa, OK; granddaughter Lindsey Ragsdale (Michael) of Norman, OK; great granddaughters: Morgan Cook, and Blake and Riley Ragsdale of Norman, OK.
