Thomas William Warren

July 5, 1908 ~ Apr 27, 1987

Hazelton, Kansas – Thomas William Warren, 78, died Monday in a Kiowa, Kansas, hospital. Services will be at 2:30 PM Wednesday in the Community Baptist Church in Hazelton with the Rev. Ron Wood officiating. Burial will be in the Rosehill Cemetery under the direction of the Fisher Funeral Home of Kiowa, Kansas.

He was born at Manos, Texas, on July 5, 1908. He moved to the Hazelton community in 1973 from Hobbs, New Mexico.

He and Ethel Alma McClure were married January 2, 1932, in Portales, New Mexico. He was a retired city employee of Hobbs and a member of the Community Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, of the home; a son, Billy Warren, Albany, Georgia; a daughter, Maurine Coulter, Hazelton; two brothers, E. L. Warren, Clovis, New Mexico, and Alton Warren, Clute, Texas; two sisters, Mary Aaron, Clovis, and Valta McIntyre, Oklahoma City; seven grandchildren and two great – grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, with the funeral home serving as custodian of the fund.
