Cecil A. Warren, 85, of Ponca City, left this life on December 16, 2022. Viewing will be from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Thursday, December 22, 2022, Friday, December 23, 2022, and 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM, Monday, December 26, 2022 at Trout Funeral Home & Crematory. A Celebration of Life Ceremony will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, December 27, 2022, at Northeast Baptist Church, with Pastor Scott Melton officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Trout Funeral Home & Crematory, 505 W. Grand Ave., Ponca City, OK, 74601.
Cecil was born on October 10, 1937, in Stigler, OK, to Willie Mae (Stephens) Warren. Cecil graduated from Blackwell High School in 1957 and joined the US Army in 1959. He married Joyce Goodale on May 6, 1960 and they spent 63 wonder years together.
Cecil enjoyed woodworking and wood carving. He loved to fish and won many trophies for shuffling. He also enjoyed spending time with family and working in the yard.
Cecil is survived by: his wife, Joyce, of the home; daughter, Shari Worth and Eric Roehl of Ponca City, OK; grandchildren, Alexa Jernigan and Billy Davis of Ponca City, OK, Tawney Worth and Corey Erwin of Arkansas City, KS, Elizabeth Groneweg and her husband, Eric, of Kearny, NB; great-grandchildren, Emily Erwin, Brookelynn Jernigan, Riley Jernigan, Noah Jernigan, Payten Jernigan, Gabrielle Erwin, Ava Erwin, Landry Groneweg, Paxtyn Groneweg; great-great-grandson, Easton Dietrich and sister, Ethel Haney. He was preceded in death by: his son, Wes Warren; his mother, Willie Warren; mother-in-law, Dora Goodale, father-in-law, Ernest Goodale; son-in-law, Travis Worth; brothers, David Haney and Winferd Haney.
Honorary pallbearers will be Noah Jernigan, Brookelynn Jernigan, Riley Jernigan, Payten Jernigan, Emily Erwin, Gabby Erwin, Ava Erwin and Easton Dietrich.
