Oscar Paul Warford
January 11, 1947 ~ June 19, 2025

Oscar Paul Warford was born January 11, 1947 to Eugene “Doc” and Minnie Warford in Poteau, Oklahoma. He departed this life June 19, 2025 at the age of 78 years.

Throughout his life he was well known for his spectacular talent and love of being a musician, as well as being an arborist and woodworker. He loved to help out different causes for raising money such as one event where he and his band The Jaguars and friends raised over $50k for a cell separator for Children’s hospital. He loved playing parts such as Elvis, Willie Nelson, and was made for playing the left-hand guitar. He will be fiercely missed by his family and friends; to him they were one and the same.

Paul is survived by his beloved wife, Loretta “Jean” Warford; two daughters, Robin Warford and Kimmy Keeling; two sons, Tony Warford, and John Row; one sister, Jeannie Warford; ten grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren and three great- great grandchildren. As well as, numerous nieces and nephews He was preceded in death by his parents, 8 siblings, two children, Paula Warford and Gene Horn, one great grandson Gabriel and one great- great granddaughter Ada.

Funeral services will be held 2:00pm, Wednesday, June 25, 2025 at Hutchins-Maples Matherly Chapel.
