Linda Diane (Price) Ward

Linda Diane (Price) Ward
August 04, 1950 ~ July 08, 2020

Linda was born in Bakersfield, CA to Eugene Victor Price and Charlotte Maxine (Pegram) Price.

She loved her county, our mighty military, her children, and family. She loved to help others which is evident in her work history. Although she has been retired for some time, she worked hard to get certified as a Certified Nurse’s Assistant and worked hard in the medical industry for many years. Her last place of employment prior to retirement, was at Will Rogers World Airport with the Transportation Security Agency as a baggage screener, ensuring the safety of countless passengers. She always approached her work with gusto and a smile. She also had a love for animals. There was never a time when there was not at least one dog that she lovingly took care of, and a cat or two. One of her favorite things to do was hummingbird watching. She was fascinated by them and loved to relax next to her hummingbird feeders. She was a wonderful mother, wife and sister and will be dearly missed.

She is survived by her 3 children, Glenn Anderson of Conway South Carolina, Doug Anderson of Oklahoma City, OK and Kimberly Anderson along with her partner Stephen Gooding, also of Oklahoma City, OK.

She is survived by 3 Grandchildren, Destiny, Samantha, and Austin. Her 4th grandchild, Linda, preceded her in death. She also has 5 great grandchildren, William, Henry, Josef, Kyle, and Eli.

She is also survived by her sister, Vicki Sonheim, brother, Ronald Price and several nieces and nephews.

Services to celebrate her life will be at 10:00 Tuesday Morning, July 14, 2020 in the chapel of Buchanan Funeral Service.
