Kay (Bailey) Ward

January 3, 1928 ~ August 19, 2003

Graveside services for Kay Ward, 75, of Bakersfield, will be Friday, August 20, 2003, 11 a.m. at Shafter Memorial Park, with Pastor Boyd Shepherd officiating.

Mrs. Ward was born January 3, 1928, in Arapaho, Oklahoma, to Floyd and Mary Bailey. She passed away August 19, 2003, in Bakersfield.

Survivors include husband of 57 years, Darrell; sons, Jerry and wife Jenny Ward, Kenneth and wife Kelly Ward, Carl Ward and Steven Ward; daughters, Barbara and husband Joe Weaver, Linda and husband Robert Whitbey and Cynthia and husband John Couch; 32 grandchildren; twenty-nine great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren.

Also surviving is her little dog "Piggy" which she has had for 10 years.

She was preceded in death by a son, Donald Ray Ward.
