Glenda Lorene (Dine) Ward
April 21, 1950 ~ January 12, 2020

Glenda Lorene Ward, 69, of Independence, Kansas, died Sunday, January 12, 2020. Glenda was born April 21, 1950 in Granite City, Illinois, to parents Howard Eugene and Glenda Erline (Gann) Dine.

She graduated high school and worked as a caretaker in nursing homes and then retired. She married Tom Martin on November 12, 1985. He preceded her in death. Glenda loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband; grandchild, Sarah; parents and a sister Judy Elaine Bridgeman.

Glenda is survived by her children, Blanca Pemberton, Samantha Martin, Tommy Martin, Tina Marie Bentley and her kids Angelica and Danielle, Jeffrey and wife Linda Bentley and their kids, Jennifer, Jeffrey, Jessica, Allen and Alex; Jeff Dine and Tina Dine; grandchildren Hailey Martin, Anthony Martin, Elaina Brideman, Addison Martin, Justin Martin, Olivia Martin, Brennen Pemberton, Mya Pemberton; siblings Starlit Stacey, Daniel Dine, Janet Oliver, Norman Dine, Berna Kellner, William Dine, Teresa Dine, Darrel Dine and Cheryl Mitchell.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, January 16, 2020 at 4pm at Stumpff Funeral Home Chapel.
