Carrol Jo (Patterson) Ward

October 22, 1944 ~ August 3, 2008

Carrol Jo Patterson Ward, Stroud, Oklahoma, resident was born on October 22, 1944, in Sparks, Oklahoma, and departed this life on August 3, 2008, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, at the age of 63 years.

Carrol was the daughter of John and Pearl Acord Patterson.

She graduated from Chandler High School in 1962.

She was a homemaker.

Her parents, husband, one brother, Tommy, one sister Freda; and three granddaughters, Chasity "Chaz" Hope Ward and Haley and Hanna Ward preceded Carrol in death.

Survivors include three sons, Billy Ward of Cookson, Oklahoma, Tommy Ward of Mainz, Germany, Kyle Ward of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, two daughters, Regina Ward of Oklahoma City and Shana R. Ward of Perry, Oklahoma, two brothers, Don Patterson of Sparks, Oklahoma and Bill Patterson of Claremore, Oklahoma, one sister, Ulene Phillips of Shawnee, Oklahoma, twelve grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, other relatives and many friends.

Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, August 9, 2008, at First Christian Church in Chandler, Oklahoma, with Bishop Doug Brothers officiating.

Services are under the direction of the Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Chandler, Oklahoma.
