Charles Edward "Eddie" Walter Jr.
July 7, 1958 ~ December 18, 2021

Charles Edward "Eddie" Walter Jr., 63, passed away on Saturday, December 18, 2021, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Visitation will be held on Wednesday noon-5 p.m. and Thursday 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. with family greeting guests 6-8 p.m. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Dighton Marler Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Eddie was born on July 7, 1958, in Enid, Oklahoma, to Charles Sr. and Patty (Powell) Walter. He grew up in the Covington area and graduated from Covington High School. Eddie married Carolyn Tipton on October 25, 2002, at St. Mark's Episcopal Church in Perry.

Eddie was an outdoors guy. He loved to fish and hunt. He enjoyed spending time with his buddies in his taxidermy shop. He loved taking his boat out to go fishing. Eddie was a guy that was always helping anyone out that he could. His favorite love was spending time with his kids, his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Eddie is preceded in death by his father Charles Walter Sr. and his grandparents.

He is survived by his wife Carolyn, his children, Charles "Chuck" E. Walter III and his wife Martha, Shianna Marie Glenn and husband Cole, Amanda Dawn Rilee and husband William and Eric Donald Rodebush; his grandchildren, Audrey, Christian, Kolt, Emmanuel, Makenzie, Preston, Samuel, Hayden, Maelie, and Stormy, and great grandchildren, Deker, Coe, Vedel, as well as his mother Patty Walter of Covington. He is also survived by his two sisters, Tarri Hawkins, and Sharri Staples and husband Lloyd as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
